Our Staff

The staff at Sunnyside Dental care are caring and professional. Many have been with Dr. Johnson for a number of years so they really know how to handle just about any dental situation. They are a shy bunch when it comes to a camera, but you can read more about them below.

  • Evan Johnson - Doctor of Dental Medicine

  • Maria Hatch - Registered Dental Hygienist

Maria Hatch graduated with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from Idaho State University. After working in the Salt Lake area for several years, she returned to her native Idaho Falls and has been working part-time for Dr. Johnson for the last seven years. She enjoys working with people and helping them have a comfortable and pleasant experience while getting their teeth cleaned.
She and her husband and five children live west of Idaho Falls where she enjoys doing laundry, more laundry, and even more laundry! She also occasionally enjoys walking, reading and biking.

  • Amanda Clark - Registered Dental Hygienist

Amanda has been working as a Dental Hygienist for three years. She was able to go to school at Idaho State University and graduated in 2003. She was raised just outside of Rexburg and attended Sugar-Salem High School. She now lives in Ammon with her husband and two children. They are fairly new to Idaho Falls and are loving life here. They have a new home and she is learning to appreciate the task of decorating and putting in our yard. Most of Amanda's time is spent at home enjoying her family, but she is grateful for the opportunity to work part time with Dr. Johnson and his staff. She looks forward to getting to know more of the patients and the community here in Idaho Falls.

  • Brenda Andersen - Dental Assistant

Brenda graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Eastern Idaho Technical college. She is a certified Dental Assistant and trained in expanded functions. Brenda has been employed with Dr. Johnson for 19 years, and hopefully will be familiar face for many more years. Throughout the years to keep up on new dental technology she has attended many educational courses.
Brenda and her husband Loren have just built a new home and move back to her hometown of Firth. They have 3 boys.

  • Allison Turnblorn - Receptionist

Allison received her training from Eastern Idaho Technical College. She had on the job training for two years and then attended the advanced course at the college, receiving her certificate in Dental Assisting. She has experience in orthodontics and also implant procedures in addition to general dentistry.
When not at work Allison like to spend time with her husband and two children.
